Country Woods DSP

I often pull my color scheme from my Designer Series Paper (DSP), and that’s exactly what I did here. I chose a sheet with Gray Granite and Misty Moonlight, then I threw in Real Red as an accent.

Friendly Seagulls Details

We stamped our seagulls on the Basic White Postage Die cut panel. Then we stamped them again on a scrap of Basic White and fussy cut them out (minus the legs and feet) and popped the bodies up with Stampin’ Dimensionals over the ones stamped on the panel for a 3D effect. And who wants to fussy cut out those feet and legs?! Not me!

Hugs for Love Back Fold

Once again, I can’t get enough of the Marbled Elegance DSP (Designer Series Paper). This is another card we made in class last month…. a Hugs for You Back Fold Card.

Hugs for Love Bundle

This fun bundle is great for Valentine’s Day or anytime you want to send love or encouragement. I really like the Sending you a Big Hug sentiment. That could be used for so many things. And the coordinating frames and punch make it an easy addition to any card.

Marbled Elegance DSP

I’ve told you before that I can’t get enough of this DSP! It is just stunning with the beatiful swirls of color and the gold foil accents. I’m stocking up on it!

Hugs for Love Back Fold

How It’s Made

I made this Back Fold card by cutting a Melon Mambo card base to 5 1/2″ x 7 1/2″ and scoring at 3 1/4″ and 6 1/2″ on the long side. Next, I folded on the first score line to make the card front and the second score line is folded back. I attached the sentiment ONLY to that small back folded section. So, the front flap is held in place by our sentiment. You can see what I mean in the picture below.

So Very Merry Tiny Treat

We made this So Very Merry Tiny Treat at last month’s class. It’s only a couple of inches wide and tall, so it will hold tiny treasures like a couple of candy kisses or a pair of earrings.

This little box starts with a 6×6 piece of the Take A Bow DSP (Designer Series Paper). We also used circle dies and the So Very Merry Stamp Set. The Heartfelt Hexagon Punch makes the perfect closure for this little treat.
