Bluegrass Stamper September Special!!

September Special Counting Sheep Bridge Card

Sale-a-bration continues in September

I’m sure most of you know that Stampin’ Up! is offering a SECOND Sale-a-bration during August and September. This is the FIRST TIME they’ve had TWO Sale-a-brations in one year. With every $50 order (before s/t), you get to choose a FREE item from the Sale-a-bration Brochure. Some of these products are While Supplies Last, so don’t delay!

Bluegrass Stamper September Special

In addition to Sale-a-bration, I am offering my own special this month. With any $50 order (before s/t) using the Host Code below, I’ll send you Project Sheet PDFs and Video Tutorials for THREE projects. These projects were from my August Stamp Club and they were a big hit!

Counting Sheep Bridge Fold Card

This card uses the Counting Sheep Stamp Set and the Sheep dies, both items that can be earned FREE with purchase during Sale-a-bration.

Sweet As A Peach Treat

This cute tag uses the Sweet As A Peach Bundle to package a sweet peach treat. I gave each of my club members a peach that they could use to treat someone. I think most of those peaches never made it home!

Penguin Place Winter Card

This card was a bonus project for my VIP club members. It was an easy card, but super cute, using the Penguin Place Bundle!

September Special

Place any order of $50 or more (before s/t), using the Host Code below and I’ll email you the Project Sheet PDFs and links to the Video Tutorials for ALL THREE of these projects!

Project Sheet PDFs

The Project Sheet PDFs will include the materials I used, along with measurements for cutting and scoring.

Video Tutorials

The videos include step by step directions for making each of these projects. There’s a separate video for each project, and you can pause or re-watch any portion at any time! Ah, the beauty of videos!

Use Your Own Supplies!

You don’t have to use the same supplies I used! You can choose your own colors of cardstock, ink and DSP, along with your own stamps to create these projects. And, if you do, I’d LOVE to see what you make!!

Click on the link below to place an order. If your order is less than $150, use the Host Code shown below to receive the PDFs and Video Tutorials. If your order is more than $150, DON’T use the Host Code so you can pick your FREE Stampin’ Rewards. You’ll still get the PDFs and Tutorials! Be sure NOT to click the box that doesn’t allow me to contact you. If you do that, I won’t have your email address and I can’t send your FREEBIES!

Delicate Dahlias

I’m using the Delicate Dahlias Sale-a-bration stamp set to make a sympathy card. I think the florals in this set are beautiful, and there are several sentiments to choose from, so you could make this card for any occasion. And, you can get this stamp set FREE with any $100 purchase before shipping and tax!

Two Step Stamping

Delicate Dahlias is a Two-Step stamp set. If you look at my card, you can see the outline of the dahlia is a darker color than the petals themselves. It takes two steps to make the flower. First, I stamped the flower in Pool Party using the flower stamp, then went back and used the outline stamp with Misty Moonlight to add the darker outline.

The leaves were stamped in two steps as well, but using Granny Apple Green in both steps.

As you can see, there are two flowers, one BEHIND the other. To get this effect, I used a technique called Masking. Unlike painting, where you add the front image last, with the Masking Technique you stamp the front image first, then cover or “mask” it to stamp the other images. This allows them to appear BEHIND the first image.

Be sure to sign up for my Email Newsletter, if you’d like more information on Masking. I’m working on an instructional PDF to send to my newsletter subscribers soon!

Double Layer Technique

Did you notice how the stamped images continue from the front layer onto the back layer? This is achieved using a Double Layer Technique.

First, I stamped the images (using the Masking Technique) onto a 4″ x 5 1/4″ Basic White panel. I then used the Stitched Rectangles Dies to cut a rectangle from the center of this panel.

I cut a piece of Misty Moonlight cardstock using one of the dies from the new Scalloped Contours Die set and layered it behind the cut white rectangle with the stamped images. It’s then centered over the hole and adhered with dimensionals.

Below is a picture of the pieces I used, so you can see how this card comes together.

The greeting is stamped on Basic White and punched with the Double Oval Punch, layered onto a piece of Misty Moonlight that is punched using the scalloped oval from the same punch.

I added a piece of the Gold Fine Art Ribbon and one of the Bumblebee Trinkets to embellish.

Freshly Brewed Projects – Love

Hello Stampers!  I’m sorry I’ve been away for so long.  We spent the last couple of months moving, and to be honest, I still have too many boxes to unpack.  But, I’ve missed my crafty time so much, I had to take a break from unpacking and join my friends for this Blog Hop.

I didn’t even get to mail Christmas cards in 2020, so instead I thought I’d send Valentines to those who mailed me a Christmas card!

Because everything in my craft room is in disarray due to the move, I couldn’t find all my supplies, so I used some retired products on this card.  The pink cardstock and DSP (Designer Series Paper) are retired product, and the gold ribbon is non-SU, but it’s what I could find to work with!   I’ll post links to the products that are still available.

The Love topic of our Blog Hop is also perfect for the January Paper Pumpkin!  Paper Pumpkin is a kit that is available in the USA (sorry, my Aussie friends).  It comes directly to your door, on a monthly basis, and includes everything you need for the monthly project, including stamps and inks!

January’s kit was called Sending Hearts and it made four each of these cute Valentines!

Here’s a pic of the stamp set and ink spot that were included.

Now is a perfect time to order a pre-paid Paper Pumpkin subscription!  If you order a 3-month pre-paid subscription, you’ll get to choose a Level 1 item from the Sale-a-bration brochure FREE!  With a 6-month pre-paid subscription, you can get two Level 1 items or one Level 2 item, and with a 12-month pre-paid subscription, you can get four Level 1 items, or two Level 1 and one Level 2 items, or two Level 2 items!  Whew!  That boggles the brain, doesn’t it?

If any of my US friends are interested in joining Paper Pumpkin, you can order below.

Now, be sure to hop to these sites, to see more “LOVE”ly projects!
