Heart Shaped Diagonal Pop Up

My favorite product from the 2025 Sale-a-bration Brochure is the Heart Shaped Bundle! Not only does it make beautiful Valentines, but it’s also pretty for other occasions. We made a Heart Shaped Diagonal Pop Up card at this month’s class. It’s easy, but so much fun.

I really like the leafy heart die cut and we added it over the stamped leafy image. The flowers, leaves and banners are also cut with the dies.

Tip: Use an adhesive sheet on the back of your cardstock before cutting the leafy heart and you won’t need glue to adhere it.

Diagonal Pop Up

To get the pop up, we took a piece of Thick Basic White cardstock cut to 4 1/4″ x 8 1/2″ and scored it at 4 1/4″ on the long side. We folded it in half and then scored the card front diagonally from the bottom left to top right.

Tip: Take a black Sharpie and run it down the 6″ score line on your Simply Scored Tool. Then you can line your card up with this line to make diagonal scores.

Pick A Season Quick & Easy Thank You

It’s always fun to see what products will be included in Sale-a-bration! If you’re not familiar, Sale-a-bration is a yearly event where you can get FREE products with a qualifying order. The Pick A Season Stamp Set is one of the products this year and can be yours with any $60 order.

This cute stamp set has images for many occasions. There are two tree trunks, grass, clouds and a fence. But, the fun part of this set is the leaves. See the “holes” in the large leaf image? You can add whatever you want in those spots. There are hearts, shamrocks, roses, easter eggs, and more leaves.

Pick a Season St. Patrick’s Card

We don’t often get images for St. Patrick’s Day so I thought it would be fun to use the Shamrocks and two different greens. I used DSP from the 2024-2026 In-Colors and the Birchwood 3D Embossing Folder for the background.

This is a great all-purpose embossing folder. Sometimes you just want something subtle that doesn’t compete with your focal point and this one is perfect.

I chose the two greens from this DSP (Designer Series Paper) for my card….. Summer Splash and Shy Shamrock.

How It’s Made

Cut Shy Shamrock CS to 5 ½” x 8 ½”. Score at 4 ¼” on the long side and fold for card base.
Cut 4” x 5 ¼” layer of Summer Splash. Emboss with Birch Wood Embossing Folder and adhere to card front.
Cut a 2” x 4” strip of DSP and adhere slightly below center of the embossed panel.
Cut a Basic White tag using the largest tag from Greetings of the Season Dies. Stamp leaves in Summer Splash, shamrocks and grass in Shy Shamrock and tree trunk in Pecan Pie.
Attach Shy Shamrock ribbon to the tag and adhere tag to card with Dimensionals.
Embellish with In-color Shimmer Gems.
