Wetlands

I know life is not all glitter, flowers and butterflies, but in my stamping world it usually is.  I’m drawn to those types of images, so I have to work at making more masculine cards.

This card is adapted from a card on Pinterest by Chiaki Haverstick.  You can find her card here.  I added the ribbon, linen thread and greeting.

We used one of the new Layering Squares Framelits to cut a scrap piece of cardstock to use as a mask and laid it on top of our white card and sponged with Marina Mist and Crumb Cake inside the square.  We stamped the sandpipers with the mask still in place, and then removed it to stamp the sea grass.
