We made this Wanted to Say Split Front card in a recent class. Another project in that class required A LOT of stamping, so we balanced it with this card, which requires NO stamping!
Here’s How
First, we cut a white panel 3/4″ narrower than our regular sized 5 1/2 x 8 1/2 folded card base. We embossed the white panel and cut a 3/4″ strip off the left side.
Next, we popped that 3/4″ strip up with Dimensionals on the left side of the card base, lining it up with the edges of the card. A 1 x 5 1/2 strip of DSP was glued to the card base, tucking it just under the edge of the embossed strip.
Our next step was to adhere the rest of the white panel to the right side of the card front with Dimensionals. This creates an inset for our DSP strip.
Finally, we cut out the Happy Birthday from Lemon Lolly and Berry Burst cardstock using the Wanted to Say Dies and glued them together. This is attached to the card with both glue (on the white panel) and Mini Dimensionals (in the inset).
Embellish with Tinsel Gems.
