Let’s make a Turtle Friends Fun Fold Box Card!
It’s Blog Hop Wednesday, and today’s Blog Hop is focused on critters. I chose the Turtle Friends Bundle for today’s project because it includes both the Turtle Friends Stamp set and Turtle Punch.
Choosing the colors
I first chose the Pansy Petals DSP (Designer Series Paper) because of the green color combination. Then, I added ink and cardstock in two of the new in-colors (Soft Succulent and Evening Evergreen). These colors coordinate with the DSP. That is often how I choose color combinations for my projects. I pick the DSP first!
The details
Have you guessed how I made the “pond” behind the turtle? I used the new Layering Diorama dies. It’s always fun using dies for something other than which they are originally intended. More bang for the buck, and who doesn’t love that?! The turtle was stamped with Evening Evergreen on Soft Succulent card stock, and I used a small google eye to finish him.
This card uses a box card fun fold, and you can see how it will stand up nicely for display. In order to have room for a message, I replaced the DSP on one of the back panels. Of course, if you need more space you could do this with both of the back panels.
Let’s see what our creative friends have for us this week.

The Turtle Friends Fun Fold Box Card requires very little in the way of supplies. Here’s the fixin’s:
If you’re in the USA and don’t have a demonstrator, I’d love for you to choose me! And, if you’re in the Kentucky area, I’d love to meet and stamp with you.
Sweet card with a lovely difference, well done
Thank you, Sylvia!!
