You’re Inspiring

Who’s ready for spring?  Our weather here has been crazy, going from winter to spring and back to winter again, but these daffodils definitely put me in a spring mood.

This is a pocket card which can actually double as an Easter Basket!  I had some small cello packages of pastel M&Ms that we slipped into these cards.

Stamps:  You’re Inspiring

Cardstock:  Pear Pizzazz, Old Olive, Whisper White

Ink:  Memento Tuxedo Black

Paper:  Delightful Daisy DSP

Dies/Punches:  Layering Ovals, 1/8″ Circle Punch, Daffodil Delight Cotton Ribbon (retired)

Other:  Daffodil Delight, Pumpkin Pie and Old Olive Stampin’ Blends, Sweet Soiree Ready Shreddie (white)

Hold on to Hope

I promised to show another card using the Hold on to Hope Stamp Set.  We made this card at the local library, where we keep things quick and easy.

Stamps:  Hold on to Hope, You’re Inspiring

Cardstock:  Pear Pizzazz, Whisper White, So Saffron

Ink:  So Saffron, Pear Pizzazz, Soft Suede

Dies/Punches:  Layering Ovals Framelits, Leaf Punch, Small Flower Punch (retired), Linen Thread, Basic Pearls

I cut an oval from a piece of scrap paper, then laid it over the white panel and sponged So Saffron gently in the opening.  Then I removed the paper and stamped the cross in Soft Suede in the center of the sponged oval.

I hope you enjoyed this card.  It would also make a beautiful sympathy card.

Hold on to Hope and You’re Inspiring

One of my favorite bundles in the Occasions Catalog is the Hold on to Hope Bundle.  I know it’s way past Easter, but this card would also make a beautiful Encouragement or Hope Card.

Stamps:  Hold on to Hope, You’re Inspiring

Cardstock:  Fresh Fig, Crumb Cake, Very Vanilla

Ink:  Fresh Fig, Crushed Curry, Crumb Cake

Dies/Punches:  Cross of Hope Framelits, Decorative Ribbon Border Punch

Other:  Fresh Fig 1/2″ Finely Woven Ribbon

I have another card using this stamp set to show you.  So, stay tuned!
