Time is running out to get those Last Chance items! As of this writing the Desert Details stamps and dies are still available. This is a beautiful set for those who live in or have a love for the southwest.
Desert Details Pop-Up Frame Card
This is an impressive card that is actually easier than you might think. It also folds flat for mailing. As of this time, I don’t have a tutorial for this one, but may do a video soon, so be sure you’re subscribed to my YouTube channel. You’ll find it here – Jeanne Moss – Bluegrass Stamper.
Desert Details Envelope Fold Card
This is a fun and very easy fold. It has a popped-up image for the envelope flap to tuck behind. It also fits in a regular medium envelope.

It’s Saturday, so it must be time for another FAB Stampers share! This week its Leonie’s turn and she’s used the lovely Splendid Thoughts Bundle.
From Leonie’s Studio
For this week’s project I really wanted to use something from the Sale-a-bration Brochure. While contemplating all the items you can earn free, I opted for the gorgeous Pool Party & Soft Sea Foam Cards & Envelopes
These Cards & Envelopes are really lovely … you’ll get 10 cards in Pool Party and 10 in Soft Sea Foam and 20 lined envelopes. The best part about this pack is they are FREE with a qualifying order! They have a faint design on the card front which matches the Splendid Thoughts Bundle perfectly.
Splendid Thoughts Bundle
The Projects
I didn’t want to make the cards too busy so opted for a simple design on top. I’ve used a couple of different rectangle dies to cut my Basic White. One from the Deckled Rectangles Die set and the other is from the Stitched Rectangles Dies.
After cutting out my rectangle I placed one of the Leaf dies from the Splendid Stems Dies and ran it through my Stampin’ Cut & Emboss with the rectangle pieces. To keep my leaf in the frame I flipped it over and placed mini Dimensionals over the edges to keep them together and just popped out the centre of the leaves for the card pattern to show through.
Soft Sea Foam Card
For my Soft Sea Foam card I cut another leaf in the Soft Sea Foam and popped that inside the frame for a more defined look.
Which frame do you like better?
The Details
The sentiments were stamped in VersaMark, then I white embossed them and cut them out with the Stylish Shapes dies. As the one of Soft Sea foam was a little hard to see I used my blending brushes and Soft Sea Foam Ink to make it pop.
To finish off my cards I added a silver bow using the Simply Elegant Trim and added some of the gorgeous Festive Pearls for a little bling.

It’s another FABulous Saturday and time for a new FAB Stampers post. It’s my turn this week, and I’m making a gift for my Mother-in-law using the Daffodil Daydream Bundle. I did Google Mother’s Day to be sure it’s celebrated in both Canada and Australia!
Daffodil Daydream Bundle
The Daffodil Daydream Bundle is a very versatile set of products. It has beautiful stamps, including a lovely border stamp and speckles that can add so much to a project. The dies will cut out the stamped images, but this set also includes dies to make your own daffodils! Those dies are what I’m using for my project.
Not just for cards!
I know you see a lot of cards on my blog, but our products aren’t just for cards. You can create so many things, including scrapbook pages, decorations and treats for parties and celebrations, and home decor items like this framed piece. This project was inspired by my friend, Colleen, who made a card like this.
How it’s made
First, I cut a piece of Basic White cardstock to fit my frame, and embossed it with the Tasteful Textile 3D embossing folder to give it texture.
Next, I cut the daffodil backgrounds from Basic White, the daffodil detail from So Saffron, and the stems and leaves from Soft Sea Foam. I arranged the stems like I wanted and glued them to the background. For one of the leaves, I curled it a bit with my Bone Folder and adhered only the top and bottom of the leaf, leaving it bowed in the middle for dimension. The flowers pieces are glued together, then adhered to the background with Dimensionals.
Details
I stamped the greeting on Basic White with Soft Sea Foam ink, cut it with a die from Stitched Rectangles, and adhered it with Dimensionals.
Finally, I added three Polished Dots for a little sparkle.
