Spring at the Library

Before we had to think about social distancing, I held a monthly class at my local library.  Now all events have been cancelled.

At my last class, we used the retired Best Bunny stamp set and Bunny Builder Punch to make little Spring baskets and cards.  I was also  planning to make these baskets for the residents at the local Veterans Center, but now we have discontinued our visits to limit their exposure.  Maybe next year!

Here’s the fixin’s:

I hope you enjoyed these little projects.  If you need any stamping supplies, and don’t have a demonstrator, I’d love to be your creative coach!

You Know Too Much with A Little Lace

I made this card for a friend of mine, but forgot to take a picture before giving it to her.  Luckily, she let me borrow it so I could share it with you.  She actually knows me pretty well, so she knows how bad my memory is!

Here’s the fixin’s:

Cheers to the Year

Happy New Year!!

Last year was a rough one for me, so I’m hoping 2018 will be a better one.  I hope it’s a good year for you, too!

We made this card at December Stamp Club, and the picture does NOT do it justice.  It is gorgeous and includes several colors of foil….gold, silver, champagne, and copper.  The DSP is so pretty, I really hated to see it go!

This card is adapted from a Make-n-take we made on the Incentive Trip to Thailand in July.  I resized it to make the most of the beautiful paper.  I wanted to make sure all my club members got to use it.

Stamps:  Cheers to the Year

Cardstock:  Crumb Cake, Champagne Foil, Whisper White

Ink:  Crumb Cake, Basic Black

Punches:  Starburst, 1 1/4” Circle, 1 3/8” Circle

Paper:  Year of Cheer Specialty Designer Series Paper

Other:  Foil Snowflakes, Mini gold sequins

Thanks for visiting my blog today.  Stay inky, my friends!
