Trusty Tools Toolbox Card

Trusty Tools Inside

In my February classes, we made this fun toolbox card using the Trusty Tools Bundle and the Trusty Toolbox DSP from Sale-a-bration.

The front of the card is bright and colorful with screwdriver and hammer paper and a sprinkling of screws and nuts. But the real magic is inside!

Trusty Tools Inside

The toolbox pops up. It has a “wood” top with a ruler and pencil and a drawer with a crescent wrench peeking out.

Trusty Tools Bundle

The perfect stamp set for the handy guys in your life. Plenty of different tools for mechanics, woodworkers, and Mr. Fix It!

Trusty Toolbox DSP

This DSP (Designer Series Paper) coordinates beautifully with the Trusty Tools stamp set! You can even cut out some of the images with the dies in the Bundle! If you click on the image above, you’ll be linked to the product page where you can see better photos of each page.

This DSP is available only during Sale-a-bration, which is quickly coming to an end.

Sale-a-bration is Ending!

The Trusty Toolbox DSP is available FREE with a qualifying order during Sale-a-bration, but if you want it, grab it quick. Sale-a-bration ends Thursday, February 29th!

Two-Tone Flora Cut Out

Two Tone Flora Cut Front

At one of my recent classes, we made this pretty Two-Tone Flora Cut Out card. Class members all had the same supplies, but they were given options. They had different sentiments to choose from, they could make their card horizontal or vertical, and they could choose whether or not to emboss the back white layer.

Every one of their cards turned out beautifully!

How We Made It

Before class, I cut a piece of scrap cardstock the same size as their Basic White panel with the die from Something Fancy centered. They could then lay this template over their white panel so see where to stamp their Sentiment.

Next, we moved the template and added the large flower (two-step with Highland Heather and Gorgeous Grape) and two sets of leaves (Garden Green) to the white panel. We also stamped the smaller flower and another set of leaves onto a scrap of Basic White cardstock and cut them out with the coordinating dies. The flower centers were colored with the Daffodil Delight Stampin’ Write Marker.

We cut our stamped white panel with the Something Fancy Die and chose whether or not to emboss the outer piece of the white panel.

The white panel was then adhered to a Gorgeous Grape card base and the Die Cut was adhered back in its original place with Dimensionals which allowed the purple to peek around the edges.

Finally, we added the die cut flower and leaves and Rhinestone Basic Jewels colored with the Dark Highland Heather Blend.
