Wise Men from Afar

Do you know what today is?  It’s Three Kings Day.  I wasn’t aware of that holiday until we lived in Germany.  When we lived there, people left their Christmas decorations up until January 6th.

This is a gift I gave to my Stamp Club members.  It’s a small bar of Frankincense and Myrrh soap packaged in a cello bag.  It smells amazing!  The soap is made by a friend of mine in Bardstown, KY.  You can find her website here.  She has the most adorable little goats and makes her products using goat’s milk.  If you contact her, please let her know that I sent you her way.

Thanks for taking the time to visit today!

Add A Little Glitz

This was a last minute gift card holder from December Stamp Club.  I got the idea right out of the Holiday Catalog.  It’s so quick and easy that you could make a bunch of these in no time flat!

I did add a little line of glue to seal the bottom so the gift card wouldn’t slide right out.  And again, we colored the rhinestones red with the Cherry Cobbler Stampin’ Blend pen.

Stamps:  Add a Little Glitz

Cardstock:  Crumb Cake

Ink:  Real Red, Old Olive

Punch:  Scallop Tag Topper

Other:  Quilted Christmas 1/4” Ribbon

This would be a cute idea for any time you need a gift card holder in a hurry!

I hope your holidays sparkled!

Basket Bunch Bunny Nest

We always have a bonus project at my monthly Cards and More Class.  Last month, we made this cute little Easter bunny nest.

I wanted something that would be quick and easy, and inexpensive to give to a group of people, so I designed this project myself.  I got the chocolate bunnies in a package of six at the dollar tree.  You can’t get less expensive than that!

This is made with a strip of 2″x 8 1/2″ cardstock, scored at 1/2″, 2 1/2″, 3″, and 5″.  When assembled, this will even fold flat for transport, which is a big plus, as I’ve made 12 of these to swap at OnStage in Savannah this Saturday!

Stamps:  Basket Bunch

Cardstock:  Pear Pizzazz, Whisper White, Daffodil Delight, Blushing Bride, Soft Sky

Ink:  Pear Pizzazz, Tangerine Tango, Blushing Bride, Soft Sky

Dies/Punches:  Basket Builder Framelits Dies, Layering Ovals Framelits, Bunch of Banners Framelits, Scallop Tag Topper

Other:  5/8″ Organza Ribbon, Blushing Bride Solid Bakers Twine, Easter Grass (non-SU)

I hope you like my creation!  Please leave a comment and let me know what you think.
