Love You Sew

Nope, that’s not a misspelling in the title!

That’s the name of a stamp set from the Occasions catalog.  The set is exclusively for hosts, and is only available to purchase with host dollars.  Host dollars can be earned by having a qualifying party.  If you’re in my area, I would LOVE to have a party for you.  You provide snacks and friends, and I provide everything else! Please contact me if you’re interested in earning FREE product.

My friend, Dawn, taught this card at one of her classes.  It’s so cute and simple with different colors and different sized circle punches.  The only thing I changed was to run the top layer through the Big Shot using the Zig Zag embossing folder after I glued down the circles.  This technique is called faux quilting as the embossing gives the panel a quilted look.

Pocket Card

It’s almost tax day!  I finally got my taxes ready to go.  My husband wants them done early, but it always seems to take me a while to get it all together.  How about you?  Have your returns been sent yet?  If not, you’d better get busy!

Today I want to share a card I made for a monthly swap group I am in.   Each month, we are challenged with a different type fold, color scheme or theme.   Last month’s card was a Pocket Card.   I used the hostess set from the Occasions Catalog…. Love You Sew.  It also uses some vintage DSP from my stash.

I hope you like it!
