Basket Bunch Easter

Here’s my Easter wish for you!

May All Your Chocolate Be Solid

This cute little card is made with the note cards.  These come 20 to a package, are pre-cut and scored, and include envelopes.  It doesn’t get much easier than that!

The Basket Bunch bundle has 29 photopolymer stamps and 22 dies!  That’s a LOT of stamps and dies for $46.75.  Add a package of dimensionals and you have enough to qualify for a FREE Sale-a-bration item.

Although it’s hard to see in the picture, I used clear Wink of Stella on the peep, eggs, and bow to give them a little sparkle.

Stamps:  Basket Bunch

Cardstock:  Note Card, Wild Wasabi, Crumb Cake, Chocolate Chip, Daffodil Delight, Pink Pirouette, Pool Party, Whisper White

Ink:  Chocolate Chip, Wild Wasabi, Pink Pirouette, Daffodil Delight, Pool Party

Dies:  Basket Builder Framelits Dies, Layering Ovals Framelits

Thanks for stopping by today, and if you’re in the Elizabethtown, KY area, I’d love to stamp with you!

Candy Cane Christmas Treat Bottles

As some of you know, my 92 year old father lives with us.  Over the last year, since my mom passed, he hasn’t had much appetite and has been gradually losing weight.  At his last checkup, the doctor wanted him to start drinking Boost twice a day, in the hopes that it would help him gain weight.

Those of you who know me, know that I’m a recycle nut.  I hate to throw away anything that might be reused.  In my classes, we have recycled Frappucino bottles into Thankful Tree vases and Cracker Barrel syrup bottles into mini flower vases, so seeing those Boost bottles in the trash was just unacceptable!  We started washing them out and at two a day, it didn’t take long to have a collection.

We made this cute treat at Stamp Club, and I also made a bunch more to give to family, friends, the UPS man, the mail carrier, etc.

They are filled with Christmas M&Ms, and I found that the Cucumber Crush and Real Red inks were a great match!  I also wrapped a strip of DSP around the center section of the bottle, although I didn’t take a picture that shows it.

I made this cute little Halloween card to send to my friend, Vikki.  When it’s closed, the characters all line up so that you only see the mummy, but when it’s open, you can see all the little trick or treaters!
