Adorable Owls Tootsie Pop Treat

Adorable Owls Tootsie Pop Treat

I may be telling my age, but when I first saw this cute set of owls, it took me right back to my childhood and watching cartoons on Saturday mornings. One of the commercials was an owl trying to find out how many licks it took to get to the center of a Tootsie Pop. I don’t think he ever made it past three licks before crunching into the sucker! Does anyone else remember this commercial? I knew I had to create this Adorable Owls Tootsie Pop Treat!

I printed the… How many licks does it take?… on cardstock and cut it out with the small oval die from the All That dies set.

I hope you enjoyed this “sweet” treat!

Freshly Brewed Projects – Love

Hello Stampers!  I’m sorry I’ve been away for so long.  We spent the last couple of months moving, and to be honest, I still have too many boxes to unpack.  But, I’ve missed my crafty time so much, I had to take a break from unpacking and join my friends for this Blog Hop.

I didn’t even get to mail Christmas cards in 2020, so instead I thought I’d send Valentines to those who mailed me a Christmas card!

Because everything in my craft room is in disarray due to the move, I couldn’t find all my supplies, so I used some retired products on this card.  The pink cardstock and DSP (Designer Series Paper) are retired product, and the gold ribbon is non-SU, but it’s what I could find to work with!   I’ll post links to the products that are still available.

The Love topic of our Blog Hop is also perfect for the January Paper Pumpkin!  Paper Pumpkin is a kit that is available in the USA (sorry, my Aussie friends).  It comes directly to your door, on a monthly basis, and includes everything you need for the monthly project, including stamps and inks!

January’s kit was called Sending Hearts and it made four each of these cute Valentines!

Here’s a pic of the stamp set and ink spot that were included.

Now is a perfect time to order a pre-paid Paper Pumpkin subscription!  If you order a 3-month pre-paid subscription, you’ll get to choose a Level 1 item from the Sale-a-bration brochure FREE!  With a 6-month pre-paid subscription, you can get two Level 1 items or one Level 2 item, and with a 12-month pre-paid subscription, you can get four Level 1 items, or two Level 1 and one Level 2 items, or two Level 2 items!  Whew!  That boggles the brain, doesn’t it?

If any of my US friends are interested in joining Paper Pumpkin, you can order below.

Now, be sure to hop to these sites, to see more “LOVE”ly projects!

Heartfelt Quilted Panel Card

We made this pretty card at Stamp Club this month using the Heartfelt Suite.

First we glued strips of the From My Heart Specialty Designer Series Paper to a white panel.  Then we embossed the panel using the Parisian Flourish Embossing Folder to give it a quilted look.

This suite includes two heart punches, along with Real Red ribbon and Faceted Gems, which we used to finish the card.  One of the things I like most about the suites is the ability to order everything in the suite with only one item number!

I hope you like this card!  Would love for you to comment below.
