Today, I want to share another Tri-Fold Twist card. I told you in my last post, that I’m addicted to this Fun Fold!
This card uses the Magic In This Night Suite. I absolutely love suites. My friend, Dawn, said you just can’t make a bad card when you’re using Stampin’ Up! supplies, and she is so right! You especially can’t go wrong when you’re using the suites. It just doesn’t get any easier to create beautiful projects!
The card is vertical (portrait) when closed, but it flips to horizontal (landscape) when opened! How fun is that?
I’m joining the lovely ladies from Australia again this week for the Freshly Brewed Projects Blog Hop!
This week’s theme is frames, and I can’t wait to see how everyone interprets this in their project. I decided to share a project I’ll be teaching in a Halloween Décor class this Saturday. We’ll be using the Ghoulish Goodies Stamp Set, along with a few things from the Magic In This Night Suite.
The frame is 9 x 9. Our artwork is 8 x 8 (Cajun Craze) layered onto the white mat that came with the frame. I remove the glass from the frame and place it behind the mat to add stability, and if I want to use the frame for something else later, I don’t have to look for the glass!
The black cat’s eyes, nose and collar are colored with Stampin’ Blends, and there’s a small clear rhinestone tag on his collar.
The bats are cut from black cardstock and painted with Wink of Stella for added sparkle.
A small square of Rich Razzleberry cardstock is embossed with the Cobwebs 3D Embossing Folder, and the spider is colored with Rich Razzleberry Stampin’ Blends. The silver cord is a vintage product.
I’m excited to have this class and let everyone add a little spookiness to their homes this Halloween.
