All Squared Away

All Squared Away Lead

It’s time for this week’s FAB Stampers post. This is the first post from our new member, the FABulous Leonie Schroder. Leonie lives in Australia, and we are SO HAPPY to have her on board! You will love her creations. This week, she’s using the All Squared Away Bundle and the Mini Stampin’ Cut & Emboss machine. Both are 20% off this month!

Today it’s my turn and it happens to be my first share, so I hope the girls like what I’ve made!

For today’s post I’ve used the All Squared Away Bundle to make my set of cards. These cards are quick and easy, and I know you’ll love making them!

All Squared Away Bundle

I love this bundle! It makes this set of cards super quick and easy to make and the dies really do bring these cards to life.

All Squared Away Mango Melody

Start cutting your base card 8″ x 4″. Then score and fold at 4″. Too easy. Cut your coloured layer 3 7/8″ x 3 7/8″ then your white layer 3 3/4″ x 3 3/4″. Using a 2″ square of white cut your flower frame.

You will need four of each of these layers to make your four cards.

All Squared Away Coastal Cabana

The colours I used are Coastal Cabana, Mango Melody, Polished Pink and Highland Heather. You will also need the coordinating Ink Pads to stamp your sentiments.

You will need to create a mask to make your blended colour square for behind your Flower Frames.

Cut a piece of printer or scrap paper 3 3/4″ x 3 3/4″ – it needs to be the same size as your white layer. Using your Paper Trimmer cut this piece, so it has a 1″ frame all the way round. If you are not confident to do this with your Trimmer draw a pencil line first, then cut.

All Squared Away Polished Pink

Lay your mask over your white panel and using a blending brush shade the area with your inks. One for each colour. Did you know you can clean you Blending Brushes by running them under the water tap? True … Try it!

Let’s Assemble

Take your folded card base and affix your coloured layer with your chosen adhesive. I used my Stampin’ Seal on this layer.

Affix the flower frame over your shaded square using the Multi-Purpose Glue. Remember to use it sparingly as a little goes a long way. I just used very small dots around the frame and behind the flowers.

Stamp your sentiment in the coordinating colour and affix this layer to your card with either Seal or Multipurpose Adhesive.
