Jar Of Haunts Swap Card

I recently participated in a card front swap with a group of demonstrators.  If you’ve never been involved in a swap, it’s a great way to get card ideas.  Participants make a set number of IDENTICAL cards and send them to the organizer who then send you back the same number of DIFFERENT cards.  This is one of my swap cards.

I just love the floating eyeballs, don’t you?  It’s hard to see in the photo, but the water has a touch of sparkle, added with the Clear Wink Of Stella brush.

Catching Fireflies

The nights are getting cooler, but we’re still seeing a few fireflies in our neck of the woods.  I remember catching them when I was much younger, and keeping them in a jar for a while before releasing them.

I just love the Jar of Love Bundle, and this card brings back memories of those days.  It’s so easy to add the light by just using a sponge dauber.

Stamps:  Jar of Love

Cardstock:  Island Indigo, Early Espresso, Whisper White

Ink:  Island Indigo, Early Espresso, So Saffron

Punch:  Triple Banner

Other:  Linen Thread, Sponge Dauber, Everyday Jars Framelits

I hope you enjoyed this easy card.  If you need any stamping supplies, I’d love for you to visit my online store.

Thanks for stopping by!

Pickled Mummy!

Now that summer is coming to an end, and the nights are getting cooler, it’s time to start getting ready for the holidays.  First up…..Halloween!

We made this card at September Stamp Club, and my friend, Linda, called it Pickled Mummy.  I thought that was a pretty good name for this card.

The background was made using the Ghoulish Grunge stamp set, and we added a touch of gray watercolor along the edges of the bandage strips.

Stamps:  Jar of Haunts, Ghoulish Grunge

Cardstock:  Elegant Eggplant, Pumpkin Pie, Old Olive, Whisper White

Ink:  Elegant Eggplant, Basic Black, Smoky Slate

Other:  Aquapainters, Basic Black Bakers Twine, Layering Circles Framelits, Everyday Jars Framelits

I hope you enjoyed today’s card.  If you have any questions, please contact me.

If you don’t have one, I’d love to be your demonstrator.  You can order 24/7 at my online store.
