Brusho Class Dragonfly Dreams

If you’re looking for something FUN to play with, you have to try the Brusho Color Crystals!  You can find them in the Occasions Catalog.  They can be used in many different ways, from mixing the crystals with water and painting to sprinkling them on wet paper and watching the colors “bloom”!

I recently had a class, and I think it’s the most fun we’ve had in a long time.  This card uses one of the techniques we played with.

Stamps:  Dragonfly Dreams

Cardstock:  Island Indigo, Basic Black, Shimmery White

Ink:  Basic Black

Dies:  Detailed Dragonfly Thinlits

Other:  Brusho Watercolor Crystals (Yellow, Moss Green, Prussian Blue), Spritzer, Basic Rhinestones

I have more samples from the Brusho class, so be sure to check back.  Island Indigo is a retiring color.  If you haven’t stocked up on cardstock and ink, you can order at the link below.

Dragonfly Dreams

I made this card for a swap, and liked it so much that it was also the bonus project for February’s CAM class.

If you haven’t used the Shimmery White cardstock, you should try it.  It has a beautiful sparkle to it, and it works well with watercolor techniques.

I used three of the new in-colors and the aquapainter to make the background for this card.  It’s so easy.  Just use re-inkers or squish your inkpad to get some ink in the lid, water it down well with the aquapainter and stroke it across the card.

Stamps:  Dragonfly Dreams

Cardstock:  Basic Black, Shimmery White

Ink:  Sweet Sugarplum, Flirty Flamingo, Peekaboo Peach, Basic Black Archival

Dies:  Detailed Dragonfly Thinlits Dies

Other:  3/8″ Flirty Flamingo Ruched Ribbon, Basic Black Solid Bakers Twine, Silver Sequin Trim, Silver Metallic Thread, Aquapainter

I hope you like this card as much as I do!  If you need any of the supplies used to create this card, you can find them all in my online store.
