Stitched with Cheer Treat Bag

I know Christmas has come and gone, but I still have a few things to show you.  You can adapt these for other seasons, or save the ideas for next year.

This is one of the bonus projects from Christmas Card Stamp Camp.  I got the idea from Darla Olson.  You can view hers here.

This is an easy treat bag that you can whip up at the last minute.  Change the stamps and embossing folder and it could be used for any occasion.

Tip:  When you are using the Dynamic Embossing folders, spritz your bag (or cardstock) lightly with water before embossing.  It relaxes the fibers in the paper/cardstock, allowing for a deeper embossed image.

Cable Knit Sweater Card

How cute is this sweater card designed by Sue Parker!?  I’m lucky to call Sue a friend, and you can see her cute card here.  She even has a tutorial with instructions, if you’d like to re-create the card.

We made this card in last month’s Stamp Club class.  The star of this show is the Cable Knit Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder.  This embossing folder is a new design that gives a much deeper embossing, almost a 3-D effect.  And, can you believe it?  No stamps or ink on this card!
