Botanical Blooms Z Fold

I made this card for a monthly challenge group I belong to.  It uses retired supplies, but turned out quite nice.  It’s a variation of the Double Z fold I’ve used before.  You can see other examples of this fold here and here.

Stamps:  Botanical Blooms, One Big Meaning

Cardstock:  Mint Macaron (vintage), Hello Honey (vintage), Mossy Meadow (vintage), Cajun Craze, Whisper White

Ink:  Mint Macaron, Basic Black

Paper:  Botanical Gardens DSP (vintage)

Dies:  Botanical Builder Framelits, Stitched Shapes Framelits

Other:  Basic Rhinestones

Although a lot of the supplies used on this card are no longer available, I’ll be happy to help you choose other products just as beautiful.  Feel free to contact me if you need help.

Botanical Gardens

I’ll admit it.  I’m a hoarder.  I hate to throw anything away that I think I can use in a project.

Have you ever had the pecan waffles at Cracker Barrel?  They are so tasty!  And their syrup comes in the cutest little bottles!  So, being the hoarder that I am, I decided I needed to start collecting them for a project.  I had no idea what that project was, but I knew I’d find a use for them.  My friends, Jerry and LaAnna, eat at Cracker Barrel often, and evidently Jerry eats a LOT of pancakes, because they saved the bottles for me and my collection grew quickly!  But, I still didn’t know what I was going to use them for.

When I got my first peek at the Occasions catalog, I immediately knew what I was going to make with the Botanical Gardens bundle!  We made this project in Stamp Club, and everyone loved it.  It showed them something else they could do with the bundle besides making gorgeous cards.

This was a fun project, and I hope you enjoyed it.  Start saving those Cracker Barrel syrup bottles!

Thanks for stopping by, and if you need any stamping supplies, I’d love to have your business!
