I started with a piece of Designer Series Paper from the Sunshine & Rainbows 6 x 6 pack of DSP. This awesome paper can be yours FREE with a qualifying order during Sale-a-Bration, but only until the end of February.
I love the bright and happy colours in this paper, and feel it is a must have to get us through the cold winter days. Just looking at the paper makes me smile, so imagine how happy you can make someone if you send them a card made with this paper.
A FEW DETAILS . . .
I used a Pool Party standard card base, with a narrow Melon Mambo frame around my DSP. The pink in the paper is actually Magenta Madness, but I had grabbed a piece of Melon Mambo cardstock and used it before I checked the colours. The border is narrow though, and coordinates nicely with the paper. My Happy birthday sentiment is from the Days to Remember stamp set.
I used a die from the Brilliant Rainbows Dies to cut some shine for my sentiment using our Copper Foil, and finished it off with a Pool Party Sheer Ribbon bow.
