Christmas Card Class #5

One of the cards from my afternoon Christmas Card Classes.  In these classes, we made three each of three cards, plus a bonus project.  This is one of my favorites….. simple, yet elegant.

Wonderland

Here’s the fixin’s!

The card base is Very Vanilla.  We took a separate panel of Very Vanilla and punched a 2 1/2″ circle in the top center, and stamped Silent Night in Mossy Meadow at the bottom right.  We then embossed the panel with the Softly Falling TIEF, leaving the bottom inch or so of the panel out of the folder to emboss only the top 2/3rds or so of the panel.

We centered the panel onto the base card, and taking a pencil, put tiny marks inside the punched circle, to mark the area for stamping.  We removed the panel and stamped the trees from Wonderland in Mossy Meadow into the pencil-marked area on the base card.  Snowflakes are stamped in Sahara Sand around the trees.

Gold satin ribbon is wrapped around the layer and tied with a bit of the Gold Metallic Bakers Twine.

The panel is adhered to the base card with dimensionals and a couple of gold sequins were added.

The supplies for this card are available for purchase by clicking on the shopping basket.  And, if you’re in the Fort Knox/Elizabethtown, KY area, I’d love to see you in one of my classes.

If you’re interested in becoming a demonstrator, I’d love to have you on my team!

Until next time……..stay inky, my friends!

Christmas Card Class #4

This is the bonus project from my morning Christmas Card Classes.  We had a great time making this bottle tag (wine not included…LOL) using the Festive Flower Builder Punch.

Poinsettia Wine Tag

Here’s the fixin’s!

The base is a strip of Garden Green CS, measuring 2 3/4″ x 8 1/2″.  You can get four of these from a regular size sheet of CS.  Score at 2 1/2″ and punch a 1 3/8″ circle in the center of the smaller section.

Cut a piece of Merry Moments DSP to 2″ x 6″ and trim one end using the Triple Banner Punch.  This gets adhered to the larger section of the tag.

Create the Poinsettia in Real Red and Garden Green, using Reason for the Season, the Festive Flower Punch, and the directions here .(I used gold glimmer for the flower stamens).  Adhere to the tag where desired.  Stamp the greeting from And Many More on a scrap and punch using the Washi Label Punch, and adhere with dimensionals.  I added a few gold sequins randomly to add a little sparkle.

Any of the products used to make this project can be purchased by visiting my shopping site.  Just click on the shopping basket.  If you’re interested in becoming a demonstrator, I’d love to have you on my team!

Until next time……..stay inky, my friends!

Christmas Card Class #3

Another card from my Christmas Card classes, using the Peaceful Pines bundle.

Peaceful Pines

Here’s the fixin’s!

The card base is Garden Green.  The panel is Whisper White.  First, we stamped the tree on the white panel in Garden Green and added the string of lights in Real Red, ON THE LEFT SIDE, and cut it out with the matching framelit.  We then embossed the white panel with the Softly Falling TIEF.  We adhered the tree we stamped and cut out next to the “hole” from the cut out tree.  We wrapped real red satin ribbon (from the Clearance Rack) around the white panel and tied a piece of gold cord around it.  The panel is adhered to the card base with dimensionals, adding a couple next to the tree cutout to give it extra dimension.

I used the mini star punch and gold glimmer paper for the stars, which are adhered with dimensionals.  Lastly, Merry Christmas, from Teeny Tiny Wishes is stamped in Garden Green on a Whisper White scrap and punched with the Washi Label punch and adhered to the bottom with dimensionals.  I then took the 2-way glue pen and dotted a little glue randomly over the card, sprinkled it with Dazzling Diamonds glitter and shook off the excess.

All of the supplies for this card may be purchased by clicking on the shopping basket.  And, if you’re interested in becoming a demonstrator, I’d love to have you on my team!

Until next time………stay inky, my friend!
