#imbringingbirthdays back

Yesterday was my birthday.  And, speaking of birthdays, I’ve jumped on the bandwagon for Shannon West’s campaign to bring back birthday cards.

Shannon is an employee at the Stampin’ Up! home office, and she’s also a demonstrator.  Although email and FaceBook are nice for some things, Shannon thought that birthdays deserve a real card.  I agree!  And, it seems that lots of other people do, too.

Shannon designed a stamp, #imbringingbirthdaysback, and we all wanted one, so Stampin’ Up! is now manufacturing them.

This is my first batch of birthday cards, for April and May birthdays.

In Color Strip Cards

Do you have any unfinished projects lying around?  I do!  But, now I have one less.

I found this stack of cards from an In-color class I taught a couple of years ago.  When the new In-colors are introduced, I like to show how they coordinate with our other colors.  I have done this in the past by cutting strips of different colors and laying them side-by-side on a card front.

I always need Thank You and Birthday cards, so I took some time and finished all these cards.  I’m stocked up now!

New In-colors will be available soon.  Why not try some of these easy cards, and see how the new colors work with other colors you already have?

Party Pants

I love Sale-a-bration!  I’m always sorry to see it end every year.  It’s so nice to get something FREE, and there were some super cute stamp sets available this year.  Unfortunately, Sale-a-bration is past, but I still want to show you this cute project.

One of the sets you could get FREE was called Party Pants.  We made this gift card holder as a bonus project at a Cards and More class.  The pants are made with the Washi Label punch, which is no longer available.

I think it’s really cute, and I hope you like it.

Although this stamp set is no longer available, we have plenty of others to choose from.  Click on the link below to see all the great sets Stampin’ Up! has to offer.
