Moon Baby

At last month’s Cards and More class, we made 3 of these.  Isn’t that the sweetest baby ever?

We actually stamped this image nine times (3 for each card).  We stamped it once on the white card base, and adhered the DSP (designer series paper) strips across that.  We stamped again on a white scrap, water colored the moon with an aquapainter, then fussy cut and adhered it over the DSP strips aligning it with the image that was stamped on the card base.  We stamped the image once again on another scrap, watercolored and fussy cut the baby, and popped it up over the baby on the base card using a couple of small pieces of dimensionals.

This card was based on a sketch from Freshly Made Sketches.  Sketches are a great way to come up with ideas when your mojo seems to have disappeared, and Freshly Made Sketches has so many to choose from.  You can find them here.
