Magnolia Lane Whitewash

I’ve seen a lot of cards using this stamp and technique.  I wanted to show my club members how to do the whitewash technique, so this is my take on it.

The magnolia is one of the most gorgeous stamps I’ve seen in a long time.  It was stamped with VersaMark and embossed with Gold Embossing Powder.  The flower petals are then whitewashed using the craft white refill ink and aquapainter.  Once that is dry, color is sponged onto the leaves and flower petals, using a dauber.

Here are the supplies we used:

  1. Jeanne your card is stunning. I’m not sure I have ever used this technique, but I’m off to the craft studio to give it a go!!
