Frosted Gingerbread Mini Slimline Card

It’s my turn to create a project for the FAB Stampers (Friends Across Borders) weekly post. I’m using the Frosted Gingerbread Bundle.

Frosted Gingerbread Mini Slimline Card

For today’s FAB Stampers post, I’m creating a mini slimline card using the Frosted Gingerbread Bundle, the Gingerbread and Peppermint 6 x 6 DSP, and the 6 x 6 Kraft paper.

Gingerbread & Peppermint Suite

For this project, I chose to use products from the Gingerbread & Peppermint Suite. Almost all these products are found on page 9 of the 2021 Jul-Dec Mini Catalog.

I used the 6 x 6 kraft paper for this card. It makes the perfect mini slimline card when folded in half. I made the subtle background using a mask from the Adorning Designs Decorative Masks, Cinnamon Cider ink pad and a dauber.

I cut a strip of the Gingerbread & Peppermint 6 x 6 DSP and adhered it across the middle of the card. The gingerbread cookies are cut using the coordinating Gingerbread Dies and scraps of Cinnamon Cider cardstock. The icing is cut from Basic White. I adhered a piece of Adhesive Sheet to my white cardstock before cutting, which made the icing into stickers, so no glue was required. Adhesive sheets are great to use with detailed dies!

Details

I stamped the greeting and the peppermint candies in Real Red ink on Basic White. The greeting is cut using a die from the Tasteful Labels Die set. The peppermint candies are cut using the die from the Gingerbread Dies set.

I used Dimensionals to adhere all of these images to the card.
