Hippity Hop, Easter’s on its way!

It won’t be long before the Easter Bunny starts delivering his goodies. Today’s card is a pretty scene card using the Easter Joy Suite Collection. It may look complicated, but the scene itself is actually a panel from the DSP (Designer Series Paper) from this collection. A little stamping, coloring and die cutting and you have the perfect picture of a spring day.

Celebrate spring with the Easter Joy Suite Collection!

Create adorable Easter baskets with coordinating stamps and dies, craft with metallic foil-accented paper, and embellish with gingham ribbon and adhesive-backed Easter eggs. Just add ink, cardstock, and adhesive for charming seasonal projects!

How It’s Made

  1. Cut Peach Pie 5 ½” x 8 ½”.  Score at 4 ¼” on the long side and fold for card base.
  2. Cut Shy Shamrock 4” x 5 ¼”.  Adhere panel to center of card front.
  3. Cut one of the scenery panels from the DSP to 3 ¾” x 5”.  Adhere to center of Shy Shamrock panel.
  4. Stamp flop eared bunny, two easter eggs and a tulip in Smokey Slate on Basic White scrap.  Color with Blends and cut with coordinating dies.
  5. Cut two strips of grass from Shy Shamrock card stock.  Adhere to card front, using glue only on the very bottom of the strip.
  6. Tuck easter eggs behind grass and adhere with glue.  Attach bunny and tulip using Dimensionals.
  7. Stamp greeting in Shy Shamrock on Basic White strip and cut with banner from Stylish Shapes Dies. Adhere to upper right area.
  8. Embellish with easter eggs from Easter Assortment.

Join me January 31st for a fun Crafternoon of card making in the Gathering Place (my basement).  Bring any Stampin’ Up! Paper Pumpkin Kit or a Kit from Stampin’ Up’s Kit Collection.  It doesn’t have to be current.
