Good morning, and welcome to this week’s FAB Stampers Share. If you are new here, the FAB Stampers is simply Friends Across Borders and consists of Connie Douglas from Canada, Jeanne Moss from the USA and Leonie Schroder (that’s me) from Australia.

Memories & More – Heart & Home

I do love our Memories & More Card Packs, and the Heart & Home pack is gorgeous! It is full of all sorts of gorgeous designs, sentiments, and adhesive die cuts. You can use these cards for many different projects – scrapbooking or memory keeping, cards, in your planners or for Home Décor items.

Here are the cards I’ve made for you today …

Fun and Easy Cards

All of these cards are super fun and super easy to make, and minimal stamping makes them quick and easy as well!

These cards were all made using the Memories & More Cards & Envelopes as card bases. I love this pack as you get a mix of small (3×4) and large (4×6) card bases and lined envelopes to match.

First are my two 3×4 cards. Super quick and easy as it was just a matter of adhering the cards to the card bases and then embellishing.

I felt the Just a Note card was a little plain, so I added some Champagne Rhinestones. I did stamp the Miss You sentiment on a small scrap of white and trim down for my card. I’ve used the doilies as an element behind my sentiment and two of the bees from the adhesive die cuts.

Memories & More Heart & Home Life is Beautiful

Sometimes, just sometimes, when I make a card without any stamping or die cutting, I feel a little guilty. However, when they turn out like this card, I don’t feel so bad! I’ve used a large card base, adhered a 6×4 card then wrapped some lace around the 3×4 card and tied a Linen Thread Bow around the lace trim. Popped this piece on with Dimensionals and embellished with three Navy Rhinestones from the Holiday Rhinestones pack.

The Z Fold

This last card is my favourite – sshhh dont tell the others.

I’ve used the large card base, but I’ve folded it backwards, so the pattern is in the inside. Then fold the front back to the center fold to create a Z-Fold card.

The flower panel is another 3×4 card which I’ve layered onto a piece of Night of Navy. I’ve applied adhesive to the back on the left side only to attach it to the front of my card and affixed a Navy Bow and the Sentiment from the Adhesive Diecuts.

Yet another 3×4 card, again layered onto Night of Navy, adhered inside the card behind the Flower Panel. You will want to pop your front panel on first, so the panel inside sits perfectly behind.

Preserving Your Memories in a Snap!

If you’re a scrapbooker, you know that it can sometimes take hours to complete a page. Some will spend several days creating a work of art. And, those pages are beautiful!! But, most of us do not have that much time to spare, so our intention of creating a scrapbook (to save those family memories for generations to come) falls by the way side.

Memories and More is created for the busy pace of today’s life. With the beautiful packets of cards and pocket page protectors, we can complete several pages, if not a small scrapbook, of a special event in an afternoon. These pages are attractive and the event is preserved with journaling, so years from now we will remember what happened during that period or event.

In traditional scrapbooking, when the pages are completed, they can’t be changed. If you need copies of the picture later, you have to try to remove the photo from the page without damaging it. With the Memories and More system, you can change pictures around as desired. The pictures are easy to slip out of the pockets so you can make extra copies if needed.

Traditional scrapbooking can use many embellishments, different types of designer papers, and a lot of space for storage. Memory keeping supplies consist of your scrapbook, page protectors and a set of card inserts. You need quite a bit of table space to work on traditional scrapbooking, which is not necessary with the Memories and More system. And, storing your supplies is not a problem. Each card kit comes in its own little storage box.

The Memories and More products also coordinate with all of Stampin’ Up!’s other products, so you can still be creative and embellish as much or as little as you want! ANYONE can be successful with the Memories and More system. It is not expensive, and it doesn’t take a lot of time to complete a beautiful scrapbook.

If you ARE a traditional scrapbooker, you can still use the Memories and More cards. Here’s an example of the system used on a traditional page.

The Memories and More cards can also be used to make quick cards, so there are no leftovers!

Stampin’ Up! has released their own line of Memory Keeping supplies, called Memories & More. You can use these supplies for traditional 12″ x 12″ scrapbook pages, pocket pages, and even cards!

To show the versatility, we made this card at OnStage using Memories & More products. The white layer is actually a lined M&M card, as is the green ombré card. We stamped the flowers and sentiment on this card, and also on our cardstock base. The flower image is cut from another M&M card.
