Love & Happiness Notepad

I used the Love & Happiness Bundle from the Jan-Jun 2022 Mini Catalog to make this sweet little gift. This is a beautiful bundle with words for all LOVEly occasions from Valentine’s Day to Engagements, Weddings and Anniversaries. This bundle includes not only a stamp set and dies, but also a Hybrid Embossing Folder that embosses and cuts out a heart at the same time!

A Sweet Little Gift

I used Basic Black cardstock for the base, then measured, cut and scored to create the perfect size for a 3″ sticky note pad. The spine is cut, scored and glued to allow a spot for an ink pen to be attached.

I found these cute little ink pens online, and although they are supposed to be red, they are really closer to Melon Mambo, so I used that color on the embossed and cut front.

I also found these white 3′ x 3″ sticky note pads online, and they are perfect for this little gift project.

After embossing and cutting a Melon Mambo square with the Hybrid Embossing folder from the Love & Happiness Bundle, I adhered the square to my base and wrapped it with White Glittered Organdy Ribbon.

I used a Dauber with our Whisper White ink to lighten up the embossing on the heart and attached it with Dimensionals (which also secured the ribbon).

Using other dies from the Love & Happiness Bundle, I cut the small heart and flowers from Blushing Bride and stamped the heart using Memento Tuxedo Black ink.

Basic Rhinestone jewels gave the finishing touch.

Freshly Brewed Projects – Treats for my Sweet!

Today I have another opportunity to play with some of my favorite people!  Although we are continents apart, we can still be great friends.  Today’s theme for the Freshly Brewed Projects Blog Hop is Treats for my Sweet.

I used the Hearts & Kisses Bundle for this project, along with the Paper Blooms DSP, which you can get absolutely FREE with a qualifying Sale-a-bration order.

This is one of a series of three projects using the Hearts & Kisses Bundle.  I’ll be posting the other projects soon, so sign up for my blog updates if you’d like to see them.  I used Wink of Stella for lip gloss!  I think you can see the shine in this closeup.

These cute little treat tags hold a Ghirardelli Square very nicely.  And, who doesn’t love chocolate!  To get to the chocolate, you simply slip off the belly band, and slide the chocolate out.  You don’t even have to untie the ribbon!

I hope you enjoyed this sweet project.  If you’re in the US and don’t have a Stampin’ Up! demonstrator, I’d love to have you as a customer.

Be sure to visit my friends on the Blog Hop to see more SWEET projects!

Freshly Brewed Projects – Love

Hello Stampers!  I’m sorry I’ve been away for so long.  We spent the last couple of months moving, and to be honest, I still have too many boxes to unpack.  But, I’ve missed my crafty time so much, I had to take a break from unpacking and join my friends for this Blog Hop.

I didn’t even get to mail Christmas cards in 2020, so instead I thought I’d send Valentines to those who mailed me a Christmas card!

Because everything in my craft room is in disarray due to the move, I couldn’t find all my supplies, so I used some retired products on this card.  The pink cardstock and DSP (Designer Series Paper) are retired product, and the gold ribbon is non-SU, but it’s what I could find to work with!   I’ll post links to the products that are still available.

The Love topic of our Blog Hop is also perfect for the January Paper Pumpkin!  Paper Pumpkin is a kit that is available in the USA (sorry, my Aussie friends).  It comes directly to your door, on a monthly basis, and includes everything you need for the monthly project, including stamps and inks!

January’s kit was called Sending Hearts and it made four each of these cute Valentines!

Here’s a pic of the stamp set and ink spot that were included.

Now is a perfect time to order a pre-paid Paper Pumpkin subscription!  If you order a 3-month pre-paid subscription, you’ll get to choose a Level 1 item from the Sale-a-bration brochure FREE!  With a 6-month pre-paid subscription, you can get two Level 1 items or one Level 2 item, and with a 12-month pre-paid subscription, you can get four Level 1 items, or two Level 1 and one Level 2 items, or two Level 2 items!  Whew!  That boggles the brain, doesn’t it?

If any of my US friends are interested in joining Paper Pumpkin, you can order below.

Now, be sure to hop to these sites, to see more “LOVE”ly projects!
