Stampin’ Surprise Cards from Friends

In a previous post, I shared a card I made for a Stampin’ Surprise event I hold with my stampin’ friends.  If you’d like to know more about Stampin’ Surprise, you can view that here.

These are the cards my friends made in the class.

This lovely card was made by Janet Demonbreun of Rineyville, KY.

This beautiful card was made by Vikki Thomas of Livonia, Michigan.

This cute and fun card was made by Nancy Parris, Rineyville, KY.

This pretty fall card was made by Janet Held, Elizabethtown, KY.

She used the same supplies as I did, but cleverly made some design changes.

This wonderful card was made by Debbie Smith, Elizabethtown, KY.

This lovely card was made by LaAnna Mraz, Elizabethtown, KY.

Aren’t all their cards beautiful?  I think they did a great job!

Gilded Autumn Stampin’ Surprise

I miss my stamping friends!!  Between the Covid restrictions and building a new house, I’ve been trying to do more events online.

One of the things we’ve been doing is Stampin’ Surprise.  I post a list of the materials needed (with a picture of what I’ll be using), and everyone who participates prepares their own packet.  Then, we get together on Zoom and I TELL them how to make their card.  They don’t get to see a sample or picture of the card they’re making.  They make their card just following the verbal instructions I give them.  Some of my friends are really visual (as am I), so it’s outside the box for them.  But, I’ve had a good time with it, and they seem to enjoy it, too.

This was one of our Stampin’ Surprise cards.  I used the beautiful Gilded Autumn Suite, which is my current favorite.  We followed a sketch design from Mojo Monday.

I just love the little leaf and acorn stamps and punches.  They are quick and easy, and add such a pretty embellishment.

They also are the perfect addition to the inside of the card.

I hope you like this suite as much as I do!  In my next post, I’ll show you all the beautiful cards made by my stampin’ friends!

Stampin’ Surprise!

I recently offered a FREE Zoom event to my group of stampers.  I gave them a list of pieces they would need (with measurements), so they could have everything cut in advance.  Then, we got together on Zoom and I gave them verbal directions to stamp and assemble their cards.  They didn’t get to see a sample of what they were making, so it was a mystery card until they were finished.  I was very impressed with the cards they made!!

If you missed the card I made, you can view it here.

These are the cards made by my talented stamping friends!
