Hello Harvest Gatefold Box Card

Hello Harvest Gatefold Box Card Inside

I don’t know about your area, but here in our neck of the woods, we had the most beautiful fall this year. Before I jump back into Christmas projects, I wanted to share this Hello Harvest Gatefold Box Card.

Hello Harvest Bundle/Rustic Harvest Designer Series Paper

I used the Hello Harvest Bundle and the Rustic Harvest DSP for this card. I chose my ink and cardstock colors based on the colors in the DSP. One of the great things about Stampin’ Up! is that their products are made to coordinate, and they list the colors used in the DSP, so it’s easy to create beautiful projects.

Gatefold Box Card

This fun fold is called a Gatefold Box Card. When it’s closed, it’s flat and can be mailed in a regular medium envelope, but when it’s open, it becomes a box! You could even put a gift card inside, or another small flat gift.

Soft Seedlings Swap

Have you ever participated in a card swap? They can be a lot of fun. Last weekend, I met up with some of my stamping friends in Arizona and we exchanged cards.

Card Swap

Normally, when you participate in a Card Swap, you will make several of the same card. For example, in this swap, there were 27 participants. Everyone made 28 cards (an extra for the display board), and we exchanged them one-for-one. So, I came home with 27 different cards! It’s a great way to get new ideas and samples of products you may not own.

Soft Seedlings Swap Card

I made 28 of these cards for the swap I participated in. My friend LaAnna came over to help me put these together. She’s always there when I need her, and I appreciate her!

Soft Seedlings

This stamp set was one of the first to catch my eye in the 2022 July-December Mini Catalog. I love the maple leaf and the fun little seedlings. We always called these “whirlybirds” when I was growing up. I also love the pretty font for the greetings.

This is a stand-alone stamp set…. no punches or dies, just beautiful images.

Freshly Brewed Projects – Ways With Shapes

I am joining my friends from Australia again today as we play with our shaped dies….. squares, circles, hearts, stars, etc.  I can’t wait to see what everyone does with their shapes.

I’ve been wanting to make a slimline card, so I decided to use my squares to make a shaker card.  Slimline cards are very popular right now.  If you haven’t tried one yet, they’re really fun.  Simply cut your card base to 8 1/2 x 7, and fold it to 8 1/2 x 3 1/2.  Then, just decorate however you choose!

I am totally in love with the Gilded Autumn Suite on page 45 of the August-December 2020 Mini Catalog.  I’ve used it in several projects lately, including a fun fold and a Stampin’ Surprise card with my friends and customers.

I just love the little leaves and acorn stamps.  What could be better?  How about punches to cut them all out?!!  I used the Sequins for Everything on Page 66 to fill my little shaker squares.  This set of sequins has four different color groups for any occasion!

Of course a card is never finished until you’ve stamped and decorated the inside.  I stamped the little leaves, and added a couple of punched acorns to finish my card.

I hope you enjoyed this project.  If so, I’d love for you to comment below.

And, be sure to visit the blogs below to see what my friends have been up to with their shape dies!
