Color Coach
The color coach is Stampin’ Up!’s version of the color wheel and is based on color theory—the combination of art and science that determines what colors look good together.
The middle section of the wheel spins so that you can pick color combinations with all of Stampin’ Up!’s gorgeous colors. There are “windows” to help you choose different types of combinations.
Complementary
Try pairing colors that are opposite each other to create fun, bold contrast.
Triadic
Use the three black lines in the center to choose colors that are evenly spaced around the color wheel. Go beyond the primary red, yellow, and blue for something unexpected.
Monochromatic
If you’re just beginning to explore color combinations, this is a good place to start. Choose one color that you love and pair it with shades and tints of that same color. Your colors will always match!
Analogous
Choose three side-by-side colors. These neighbors work together wonderfully to create harmony and balance.
Neutrals and In-Colors
Our neutral colors are shown on the back of the wheel. These are the perfect companions to almost any color combination.
To keep the color wheel current beyond the end of the Annual Catalog, the In-Colors have NOT been included. I’m sure you’ll be able to fit them in!
