Last weekend was our August Cards and More Class. In this class we make nine cards, three each of three designs, plus a bonus project.
This month’s class used cards I either made, or swapped for, at the Stampin’ Up! convention in July.
This beautiful card was a swap from Angi Hayes. It uses the Flower Patch Bundle and the new Fluttering TIEF (Textured Impressions Embossing Folder).
This was another swap from Karen Page. It uses the Big News stamp set, Oval Framelits, and the Cherry on Top DSP (Designer Series Paper).
Our last card, and my personal favorite, is from a shoebox swap with one of my best buds, Sue Parker. It uses the Gorgeous Grunge and Hello Life stamp sets, Circle Framelits, and the Tree Builder Punch for the “seeds”. How cute and refreshing is this!
Lastly, our bonus project, designed by me, is a simple little tag. It uses the Beautiful Bunch and Awesomely Artistic stamp sets. This tag was inspired by my 91 year old dad, who lives with us, and planted sunflower seeds he had picked from the bird feeder.
I hope you enjoyed seeing what we’ve been doing in class.
Until next time…….stay inky, my friends!
